The House and Property

Frequently Asked Questions

The house has six bedrooms and two bathrooms with on-site laundry. Below are some of our most commonly asked questions to help you plan your trip:

Q:  What payment types are accepted?

A:  We're happy to accept personal checks or credit cards through Paypal. You can also book and pay through our booking site by clicking the "Book Now" button above.

Q:  Can I bring my whole family?

A:  Absolutely!  The house is wonderful for families.  There are hiking trails, an orchard, and a creek for kids to play in as well as many toys.  Nearby Colville and Kettle Falls offer shopping and cultural experiences for small-town fun.

Q:  What amenities are provided?

A:  For rainy days, Direct TV and paperback exchange library are available. In the kitchen, cooks will appreciate a coffee grinder, coffee maker, toaster, hand mixer, microwave and plenty of cookbooks. Fresh towels and sheets are provided upon check-in. A washer and dryer is also provided on site for use.

Q:  What are the sleeping arrangements?

A:  There is a king bed in the master, four double beds and two twin beds. Two bedrooms are on the main floor and four bedrooms are upstairs. All bedding is provided. We will provide one set of fresh sheets per bed/per visit.

Q:  I'm new to hunting, can you help?

A:  Kelly, our guide, has over forty years of experience in this area. He is well-qualified to not only show you the ropes, but to help even experienced hunters enjoy a quality hunt.  He's happy to get you started, assist with butchering, and help you along the way with any paid hunt (tips appreciated); however, if you'd prefer a fully guided hunt, he's able to guide. Fully guided hunts are sold separately, please contact Kelly at (509) 680-8896 for pricing and details.

Q:  Can I bring my boat?

A:  Please do!  Lake Roosevelt is world renowned for its walleye fishing and you'll be just a short jaunt from the boat launch (about six miles). In fact, you can see Lake Roosevelt from various spots on the property if you head up the mountain for hiking.  Our driveway is gravel with a  moderate incline. There is plenty of room for parking.

Have more questions?  Just call us. Kelly (509-680-8896), Heidi (541-720-0227) or Kyle (541-720-0598) will be happy to visit with you and help plan your trip.
